About me and my therapy practice

Child and Adolescent Counsellor and Psychotherapist

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy to children and teenagers on a short or long term basis. I provide young people a safe and supportive space to think about their emotions and their experiences.

Practice description

Weekly 50 minute sessions

Face-to-face

My first session

After an initial meeting with a parent or carer I arrange to meet with the young person to think about the presenting issues and get a sense of the world around them and any ongoing difficulties. This would also be a chance for us both to decide if I was the right practitioner to work with them and suit their needs.

We would then arrange a time for weekly 50 minute sessions usually in six week blocks followed by a review.
