About me and my therapy practice

My areas of specialism include bereavement, loss and relationships. How we connect with others can tell us a lot about ourselves and the insight can bring self-awareness and change.

Any type of loss can affect individuals in complex ways and it can feel unmanageable. Seeking professional support can help us adapt to our new circumstances and give us courage to carry on.

My aim as a therapist is to offer a secure, confidential space where you can feel supported and understood. I provide  compassionate guidance and unbiased perspectives, offering insights that may not be readily available from your loved ones. My approach is grounded and focused on prioritising your needs and experiences.

Experiencing pain, anger, heartache, guilt or shame can disrupt our peace of mind, but sharing your feelings with a caring and committed listener can offer relief . By providing a supportive and encouraging environment I aim to help you lighten your emotional load and develop the resilience to face your challenges. Together , we will focus on developing clarity and self-awareness; empowering you to move forward with courage and strength.

As a therapist, I take an integrative approach , utilising various models and techniques to facilitate positive transformations in your life.

Alongside Private Practice. I have worked with a Bereavement organisation in Ealing helping  bereaved adults from 16 years old and I now support young people from 16-24 with difficult relational and childhood experiences.

Alongside my skills as a counsellor, I have a Masters in health promotion and health education. I also have a background in Criminology and Sociology .

For your personal safety and protection , I am fully insured and have an enhanced DBS check.

Practice description

I work in a client centred way and will always work with what you bring to counselling and work at your pace. I will also regularly ask for feedback to support you therapeutically.

I offer 50 min sessions once a week  both face to face and on-line.

We can work in a time-limited way or on a more long term basis depending on your needs , schedule and  time. Together we will discuss what the best and safest options will be to provide you with the right level of support.

I practice in a bright and comfortable room 3 mins from the Elizabeth line in Acton with easy links from Central and East London . Close to  North Acton tube station and numerous bus routes from Shepherds Bush, Acton Town and Ealing. 266 and 440 bus routes are easily accessible with 207 and SL8 and E3 within easy reach.

WC, no waiting room.

My first session

Our initial session will help us to decide if we can work together. This is an opportunity to learn more about each other. On my part, I will assess if I can work safely with you and I will address this by going through with you in more depth your expectations of the therapy and the change you want to bring to your life.

It will also be an opportunity for you to see how you feel about the process, about me and it will be a time to ask me any questions you have.
